Last week we bought a snake and ladder (a board game) for Ishaan. He was excited. Teaching number with it is easy. Every move he learns how much is on the dice, counts and move the pawn and I teach him how much is the number.

Example: It is 22: He says 2 and 2, so its 22. I make sure he repeats after me đŸ™‚ It has been a very good game for me to teach him numbers. In India, “aluguli mane” a traditional counting game is well known. It is a distributing and calculated game. If you get a chance do buy it and play. Off course it is not for younger kids. (caution: if they put the pawns in mouth)
